Our goal at North MacArthur is to make sure that our worship to God is done in a way that pleases Him. Many today seem to be more interested in what entertains man, but we believe that worship is showing reverence, respect, and awe to our Creator. Jesus said, "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth" (John 4:24).
Each Sunday we worship God through the avenues that are ordained in Scripture. We sing praises to Him, with the only musical accompaniment being hearts filled with gratitude (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16); we spend time in prayer together (1 Thessalonians 5:17); we remember the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus by partaking of the Lord's Supper (Acts 20:7); we give as we have been prospered (1 Corinthians 16:1-2); and we study together from the Word of God (Acts 20:7). Our prayer is that each person who attends North MacArthur will be encouraged by worship that pleases God.
We Care About Families
Families are very important to us at North MacArthur because they offer sustaining strength that no man-made institution can replace. In sorrow, in pain, in tragedy, in jubilation, in fears, whatever the emotion, the family is the continual foundation. We provide support, comfort, and encouragement to families and individuals in several ways.
