In the book of Acts, Luke introduces a man named Joseph whose very nature so impressed the Apostles that they called him Barnabas. The name "Barnabas" means encouragement, comfort, and consolation.

There are many with whom we come into contact on a daily basis who need encouragement and comfort. The following list of names represents a number of our congregation who suffer from illness, loss of loved ones, and other afflictions. We ask that you remember them in your prayers; comfort them when needed; and encourage them constantly.
